About the program

SPOTIFY & UNICEF PARTNERSHIP

We know that audio can help improve the quality of life for individuals with a wide diversity of challenges.

For that reason, UNICEF and Spotify have decided to come together to help ensure young people, including refugees and migrants, are supported to optimise their mental wellbeing through the power of audio.

This innovative partnership is bringing much needed support, trusted content and engaging playlists that support a wide range of mental health and wellbeing needs. As a brand, it is our responsibility to provide real, tangible support for those in need during difficult times.

About
This partnership is about creating evidence-based mental health and wellbeing audio content, and curating existing music and talk content, with young people, for young people. Content is available in a dedicated hub on Spotify - “Our Minds Matter”.
Our aim is to reach and engage as many young people as possible, including those directly impacted by a crisis to improve their access to and awareness of mental health resources, and to enhance young people's skills to improve mental health.

About - The Ukrainian context
The context
Our partnership was first focusing on responding to the urgent mental health needs of young people who have been affected by the war in Ukraine, so we launched the platform in Ukraine and Poland and a few other European countries.
We're now expanding to other emergency and non emergency contexts around the world, with Latin America as the next regional focus.
